When the HMP (Horse Magnetic Pulser) coil is passed over an area that has been injured, the horse will often feel it and move around or whinny or neigh. There will be some little pain or discomfort , but this is a small price to pay for knowing where the injury is. It is much simpler than getting x-rays and or using ultrasound, though x-rays and ultrasound can give you injury definition.
